What To Expect

Overview

  • Antelope Canyon is one of the most famous and beautiful canyons in the world and one of the photographers' favorite spots, located in northern Arizona, the nearest city is Page, Arizona, belong to the Navajo Aboriginal reservation. The Antelope Canyon is divided into two separate parts on the terrain, called as Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon.
  • Upper Antelope Canyon is called Ts bighnln, 'the place where water runs through rocks' by the Navajo. It is the most frequently visited by tourists because its entrance and entire length are at ground level, requiring no climbing; and because beams of direct sunlight radiating down from openings at the top of the canyon are much more common. Beams occur most often in summer, as they require the sun to be high in the sky. Winter colors are more muted.
  • Different from the flat ground of Upper Antelope Canyon, Lower Antelope Canyon requires visitors to climb upside and down through staircases and ladders. It feels like you entering a new planet, starting a magical adventure.
  • 【How to exchange tickets】
Please use Google Map for navigation and go to the specified location at least 1.5 hours prior to your entering time, no matter which canyon you visit at first. You can exchange tickets of both Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon at one time.

Our guide Clint in Lower was really great! He helped us a lot in taking pictures, he explained the history of the Canyon and the life of the Navajos and made the visit very fun! The best!!!

Ray Dec 16 2019

The guide in both canyons were fantastic. Both very personable and talented. They really knew the canyons well and both helped with our camera settings and some absolutely beautiful pictures. Do not go to Arizona and not see these canyons or you will regret it. We went in December and the weather was still pleasant. Thanks, Ray
