When night falls and the lights come on, the gambling city is a sea of neon lights and a colorful world of light and shadow. The electricity consumption of the five-kilometer-long Las Vegas Strip in one night can supply a city of 500,000 people with electricity for a year. The architecture here is a fusion of the best from all over the world. It is a well-deserved miracle of human engineering and the city with the most American characteristics!

Let us begin and see what we will get to explore today and what this gorgeous state must truly offer! First, we will take a helicopter ride across the Grand Canyon. Following, we will explore the South and East Rim of the Grand Canyon! Finally, we will visit the magnificent Horseshoe Bend and then head over to Page, AZ.

Itinerary:

Las Vegas → Helicopter tour across Grand Canyon (optional, 30 mins) → Grand Canyon National Park South Rim (Mandatory, 40 mins) → Grand Canyon National Park East Rim (Mandatory, 45 mins) → Horseshoe Bend (Mandatory, 60 mins) → Page

Grand Canyon National Park

Grand Canyon National Park, located in northwestern Arizona, is the 15th site in the United States to have been named as a national park. The park's central feature is the Grand Canyon, a gorge of the Colorado River, which is often considered one of the Wonders of the World. The park, which covers 1,217,262 acres of unincorporated area in Coconino and Mohave counties, has received more than six million recreational visitors in 2017, which is the second highest count of visits in all American national parks after the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Grand Canyon was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979.

Horseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend – One of the top ten best photography spots in the United States selected by National Geographic Magazine! The dense aquatic plants on the Colorado River bed make the river water appear fluorescent green in the sun. The river turns 360 degrees in the reddish-brown canyon here, cutting out a horseshoe-shaped canyon, hence the name Horseshoe Bend. Standing on the edge of the cliff, you will be intoxicated by the breathtaking beauty of the blue water, blue sky and red rocks.

Day 4: Lake Powell Kayaking → Lower Antelope Canyon → Bryce Canyon National Park

In the morning, we will go to Lake Powell, the origin of the Grand Canyon. Lake Powell is actually an artificial lake on the Colorado River and the second largest artificial lake in the United States. You can take a kayak to cross one of the most famous troughs in the world, from secret bays to fascinating wildlife and underwater creatures, and have an intimate encounter with Lake Powell, and enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of Lake Powell. Afterwards, we will go to the world's most unique slot cave, the Lower Antelope Canyon, one of the world's top ten photography locations! Follow the Navajo Indian guide to enter the cave. The rock walls of the cave are a combination of thousands of years of erosion by wind and torrents, with perfect wave shapes, like an abstract painting. Afterwards, we will come to Bryce Canyon National Park. Although its name contains the word canyon, it is not a real canyon. The red, orange and white rocks in it form a unique natural landscape, so it is known as the temple of natural stone figurines.

Itinerary:

Lake Powell Kayaking (Optional, 60 mins) → Glen Canyon (Pass-by) → Lower Antelope Canyon (Optional, 90 mins) → Bryce Canyon National Park (Mandatory, 60 mins)

Lake Powell

The land belongs to the joint development area of Indians and national parks. In addition to its huge amount of water, Lake Powell also has one of the rare wonders in the world, the water canyon. It is like a jasper embedded in the red orange Colorado Plateau, and it is also a fjord in the Grand Canyon. You can pass by the Glenn Dam, stop by the shore of Lake Powell to take pictures, or take a kayak through one of the most famous troughs in the world, have an intimate encounter with Lake Powell, and enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of Lake Powell.

Lower Antelope Canyon

The Lower Antelope Canyon is located in the north of Arizona, USA. It is formed by soft sandstone after millions of years of various erosion forces. Flash floods often flow into the canyon during the monsoon season. Due to the sudden increase in rainfall, the flow rate of the flash flood is quite fast. In addition, the narrow channel narrows the river channel, so the vertical erosion force is relatively large, forming the corridor at the bottom of the Lower Antelope Canyon and the hard and smooth edges on the valley wall that look like flowing water. There is no artificial lighting in the Lower Antelope Canyon. All visible light comes from the cracks at the top of the canyon. These lights are repeatedly refracted by the rock texture and enter the valley bottom, producing a dreamy and irregular color change. These colors are from deep to light, colorful and beautiful.

Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon National Park, located in southwestern Utah, is not a true canyon, despite its name. Instead, it forms a vast natural amphitheater formed by erosion along the eastern face of the Ponsagant Plateau. Its unique geological formations, known as rock pillars, are formed by wind, river water, and ice erosion, along with sedimentary rocks from lakebeds. The red, orange, and white rocks within these formations create a unique natural landscape, earning it the nickname "Palace of Natural Stone Figurines."

Today, we will take a bus to Jackson, a western cowboy town, which is also a world-famous holiday resort. Don't miss the Elkhorn Park in the city center. Then we will enter the Grand Teton National Park. The unmelted glaciers cover the majestic Grand Teton Mountains, surrounded by blue sky and forests, like a fairyland. Finally, we will come to the world's first national park, Yellowstone National Park. Along the way, there are endless grasslands and hills; cattle and sheep all over the mountains; towering snow-capped mountains; endless rivers; and hardworking cowboys, all of which are refreshing.

Itinerary:

Hotel → Jackson Hole → Jackson Town Square with Elk Antler Arches (60 mins) → Grand Teton National Park (Mandatory, 60 mins) → Yellowstone National Park (Mandatory, 40 mins, Stop at West Thumb Geyser Basin) → West Yellowstone

Notes:

Jackson Town Square with Elk Antler Arches

The park is not big, but there are giant arches made of deer antlers in the four directions of east, west, south and north. The antlers are all sharp, but they are not obtained by hunting. Every winter, a large number of elk come from the mountains to the "National Elk Refuge" in Jackson to spend the winter. In the spring, the antlers fall off naturally and are replaced. After the elk leave, countless treasures are left everywhere.

Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park was established on February 26, 1929. There are 300 kilometers of trails in Grand Teton National Park. There are many lakes in the park, including Jackson Lake and Jenny Lake. Most of the area of Grand Teton National Park is located in the Rocky Mountains, and the natural scenery is very magnificent. In addition, Grand Teton National Park also has extremely rich biological resources, including American bison, grizzly bears, black bears, moose, etc.

Yellowstone National Park

Located in the Rocky Mountains, known as the "backbone of America", it is located on the lava plateau between the Northern Rockies and the Central Rockies in the western United States. The geothermal wonders are its hallmark, a primitive landscape of the earth forged by water and fire. The natural landscape in the park is divided into five major areas, namely the Mammoth Area, the Roosevelt Area, the Canyon Area, the Geyser Area and the Lake Area, each with its own characteristics. It exceeds the limits of human art and is the most wonderful and spectacular scenery on the surface of the earth.

West Thumb Geyser Basin

The West Thumb Geyser Basin, located on the edge of Yellowstone Lake, was formed 150,000 years ago by the collapse of the earth's crust. The combination of hot springs and lake water has created a wonderful misty landscape: the misty area is the steam of hot springs, and the green waves are the water of Yellowstone Lake, which complements the blue sky and white clouds in the background, forming a landscape different from other hot spring areas in Yellowstone. This area is equivalent to the bay of Yellowstone Lake, where many geysers gather. The colors of the water outlets vary, some are transparent green, and some are dark black like cement. Many water outlets present a beautiful fantasy.

Day 6: Yellowstone National Park (Full Day)

Today we'll have a full day to wander through the wonderland of Yellowstone. Colors here are infinitely combined and amplified, accompanied by a light, ethereal mist—every step is a breathtaking view. Today we'll see the enchanting Yellowstone Lake, the thunderous crater, the ever-changing geysers, the mighty Yellowstone Falls, the majestic Grand Canyon, and the surging Upper Falls; the colorful, misty Norris Geyser Basin; and various wildlife will also grace our screens—a feast for the eyes! Words fail to describe the beauty of Yellowstone; we can only rely on our eyes and cameras to measure and remember its breathtaking scenery.

Itinerary:

West Yellowstone → Yellowstone National Park (7 hours, including stops at Norris Geyser Basin, Steamboat Geyser, Upper Falls, Artist Point, Canyon Village, Hayden Valley, Mud Volcanoes, Old Faithful Geyser, Hot Springs Trail, Morning Glory Pool, etc. The itinerary may be adjusted based on the actual situation on the day.)

Note:

The East Gate of Yellowstone National Park is expected to open on 05/02/2026. Before that, the following attractions: Upper and Lower Falls, Artist Point, Hayden Canyon, Mud Volcano, West Thumb Geyser will not be accessible. Please understand.

It exceeds the limits of human art and is the most wonderful and spectacular scenery on the surface of the earth.

Yellowstone Norris Geyser Basin

Norris Geyser Basin, named after an early Yellowstone Superintendent, may be the hottest geyser basin in Yellowstone. The stark, barren landscape of Porcelain Basin is the result of the acidic environment. Due to the hostile condition plants, algae and bacteria have difficulty in establishing themselves. Instead, the basin derives its colors from mineral oxides, in spectrums of pink, red, orange (iron oxides) and yellow (sulfur and iron sulfates). The largest geyser in the world is located here. Steamboat Geyser has long periods of dormancy, but when it does erupt it sends jets of water nearly 380 feet high in a spectacular display.

Upper Yellowstone Falls

The Upper Falls is located 400 meters upstream of the larger Yellowstone Falls. The waterfall falls vertically along the volcanic cliff with a drop of 33 meters. The originally uneven volcanic rocks below the waterfall have been eroded by the waterfall for hundreds of years and have become very smooth.

Artist Point

The scenery here is particularly spectacular. The canyon is more than 300 feet deep. The canyon walls are mainly yellow, mixed with black, red and pink, and clusters of green pine trees. These colors are mixed but not chaotic, looking like a peacock's tail, and also like the pointillism of a romantic painter who applied several layers of color in the same place.

Mud Volcano Area

Located in the eastern part of Yellowstone National Park, not far from the northern part of Yellowstone Lake. Most of the fountains here do not spray water, but mud, and every time they erupt, the ground shakes. Next to the mud volcano, there are colorful grasses that look extremely tender and gorgeous.

Day 7: Yellowstone National Park → Salt Lake City

Today we will continue to visit Yellowstone National Park, the colorful Grand Prismatic Springs whose lake surface changes with the seasons. Every view is worth a try. Afterwards, we will leave Yellowstone National Park and drive to the Great Salt Lake. The Great Salt Lake is the largest remnant of the prehistoric Lake Bonneville and the largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere. As it is an inland lake, the evaporation of the lake water has led to a continuous increase in mineral substances and a high salinity, making it a paradise for birds, artemia and other animals.

Itinerary:

West Yellowstone → Yellowstone National Park (7 hours, Stops will be at Artist Paint Pots, The Grand Prismatic Springand other attractions. The arrangement of attractions will be adjusted according to the actual situation of the day.) → Yellowstone Bear World (Optional, 60 mins) → Great Salt Lake (Mandatory, 20 mins) → Salt Lake City

It exceeds the limits of human art and is the most wonderful and spectacular scenery on the surface of the earth.

The Grand Prismatic Hot Spring

Also known as the Seven Color Pool, it is the largest hot spring in the United States and the third largest in the world. It is 75-91 meters wide and 49 meters deep, and it gushes out about 2,000 liters of 71-degree hot water every minute. The amazing thing about the Grand Prismatic Spring is that the color of the lake changes with the seasons. In spring, the lake changes from emerald green to golden orange-red, which is due to the algae and pigment-containing bacteria and other microorganisms living in the mineral-rich water. In midsummer, the chlorophyll content is relatively low, so the lake water appears brilliant orange, red or yellow. But in the cold winter, due to the lack of light, these microorganisms will produce more chlorophyll to suppress the color of carotenoids, so the water will appear deep dark green.

Yellowstone Park Palette Fountain Paint Pot

The Palette is a mud fountain. The mud and rocks contain minerals, which are melted by the acidic hot spring to form mud. Because the muddy water is very viscous, you can clearly see the slow formation and disappearance of bubbles. The mud around the fountain looks like dried oil paint, making the fountain itself look like a pot of water washed with oil paint, just like a painter's canvas, overflowing with colorful seasonings.

Yellowstone Bear World

Yellowstone Park Bear World is located in Rexburg, Idaho. It was built in 1998 and is the only wildlife sanctuary in Greater Yellowstone that can be driven through. The park offers rare animals for visitors to see, such as grizzly bears, black bears, gray wolves and other precious North American animals. It is said that there are nearly 100 grizzly bears. There are also shops, tour guides and performances such as feeding bears and other small animals.

Great Salt Lake

Great Salt Lake, lake in northern Utah, U.S., the largest inland body of salt water in the Western Hemisphere and one of the most saline inland bodies of water in the world. The lake is fed by the Bear, Weber, and Jordan rivers and has no outlet. The lake has fluctuated greatly in size, depending on the rates of evaporation and the flow of the rivers that feed it. Like the Dead Sea, the Great Salt Lake exists within an arid environment and has chemical characteristics like that of the oceans. However, it has a much greater salinity than the oceans, since natural evaporation exceeds the supply of water from the rivers feeding the lake.
