Lower Antelope Canyon

Near Page, Arizona, on Navajo Nation land. Lower Antelope Canyon requires descending stairs and navigating tight, winding corridors - a more adventurous walk that rewards visitors with dramatic textures, shadows, and composition opportunities.

The tour is approximately 90 minutes long, and visitors are kindly requested to arrive at the ticket exchange location 45 minutes before their scheduled tour time.

Lower Antelope Canyon local time

  • Moderate - stairs, ladders, narrow passages. Not stroller-friendly. Lower is more physically involved than Upper, covers roughly 1.0–1.2 miles (round-trip walking).
  • Not suitable for wheelchairs or visitors with severe mobility restrictions (stair/ladder sections).

For the best photographic light inside Lower Canyon, aim for morning (around 10:00 AM to 14:30 PM) or later afternoon when the lighting is softer and contrasts more pleasing.
