Lower Antelope Canyon

The Lower Antelope Canyon is located in the north of Arizona, USA. It is formed by soft sandstone after millions of years of various erosion forces. Flash floods often flow into the canyon during the monsoon season. Due to the sudden increase in rainfall, the flow rate of the flash flood is quite fast. In addition, the narrow channel narrows the river channel, so the vertical erosion force is relatively large, forming the corridor at the bottom of the Lower Antelope Canyon and the hard and smooth edges on the valley wall that look like flowing water. There is no artificial lighting in the Lower Antelope Canyon. All visible light comes from the cracks at the top of the canyon. These lights are repeatedly refracted by the rock texture and enter the valley bottom, producing a dreamy and irregular color change. These colors are from deep to light, colorful and beautiful.

Glen Canyon Dam

The Glen Canyon Dam is located in the arid southwestern United States, and the mission of the dam is to store water resources for this particularly arid part of the United States. It is 216 meters high, and the arched top is 470 meters long. It also meets the needs of communities in three states. This dam uses the natural conditions of the Glen Canyon to build dams on both sides of the canyon to intercept the Colorado River for hydropower generation and water regulation. It is one of the most spectacular dams in the world, and one of the most magnificent and complex buildings created by humans, which is breathtaking.

Lake Powell

The land belongs to the joint development area of Indians and national parks. In addition to its huge amount of water, Lake Powell also has one of the rare wonders in the world, the water canyon. It is like a jasper embedded in the red orange Colorado Plateau, and it is also a fjord in the Grand Canyon. You can pass by the Glenn Dam, stop by the shore of Lake Powell to take pictures, or take a kayak through one of the most famous troughs in the world, have an intimate encounter with Lake Powell, and enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of Lake Powell.

Old Faithful Geyser

Old Faithful geyser is named for its consistent and regular eruption. Currently, it erupts approximately every 60 to 110 minutes, and each eruption lasts four to five minutes. The water column is more than 40 meters high, which is spectacular and never stops. Yellowstone Norris Geyser Basin

Norris Geyser Basin, named after an early Yellowstone Superintendent, may be the hottest geyser basin in Yellowstone. The stark, barren landscape of Porcelain Basin is the result of the acidic environment. Due to the hostile condition plants, algae and bacteria have difficulty in establishing themselves. Instead, the basin derives its colors from mineral oxides, in spectrums of pink, red, orange (iron oxides) and yellow (sulfur and iron sulfates). The largest geyser in the world is located here. Steamboat Geyser has long periods of dormancy, but when it does erupt it sends jets of water nearly 380 feet high in a spectacular display.

Yellowstone Park Palette Fountain Paint Pot

The Palette is a mud fountain. The mud and rocks contain minerals, which are melted by the acidic hot spring to form mud. Because the muddy water is very viscous, you can clearly see the slow formation and disappearance of bubbles. The mud around the fountain looks like dried oil paint, making the fountain itself look like a pot of water washed with oil paint, just like a painter's canvas, overflowing with colorful seasonings.

The Grand Prismatic Hot Spring

Also known as the Seven Color Pool, it is the largest hot spring in the United States and the third largest in the world. It is 75-91 meters wide and 49 meters deep, and it gushes out about 2,000 liters of 71-degree hot water every minute. The amazing thing about the Grand Prismatic Spring is that the color of the lake changes with the seasons. In spring, the lake changes from emerald green to golden orange-red, which is due to the algae and pigment-containing bacteria and other microorganisms living in the mineral-rich water. In midsummer, the chlorophyll content is relatively low, so the lake water appears brilliant orange, red or yellow. But in the cold winter, due to the lack of light, these microorganisms will produce more chlorophyll to suppress the color of carotenoids, so the water will appear deep dark green.

Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

The 97-kilometer-long Yellowstone River is said to be "the only undammed river in the United States." Here, the river suddenly surges, creating a powerful spray that forms two magnificent waterfalls, thundering down into the Grand Canyon and on to the Pacific Ocean. The Upper Falls, at 33 meters, and the Lower Falls, at 94 meters, appear as if painted with vibrant oil paint. Even exposed to the elements, the colors remain vibrant. These "stubborn" hues resist neither erosion nor fading. Visitors marvel at the miraculous power of nature.

Upper Yellowstone Falls

The Upper Falls is located 400 meters upstream of the larger Yellowstone Falls. The waterfall falls vertically along the volcanic cliff with a drop of 33 meters. The originally uneven volcanic rocks below the waterfall have been eroded by the waterfall for hundreds of years and have become very smooth.

Lower Yellowstone River Falls

The Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River in Wyoming are the largest by volume in the Rocky Mountains of the western United States, and they stand more than 300 feet tall-- almost twice as high as Niagara Falls.

Artist Point

The scenery here is particularly spectacular. The canyon is more than 300 feet deep. The canyon walls are mainly yellow, mixed with black, red and pink, and clusters of green pine trees. These colors are mixed but not chaotic, looking like a peacock's tail, and also like the pointillism of a romantic painter who applied several layers of color in the same place.

Mud Volcano Area

Located in the eastern part of Yellowstone National Park, not far from the northern part of Yellowstone Lake. Most of the fountains here do not spray water, but mud, and every time they erupt, the ground shakes. Next to the mud volcano, there are colorful grasses that look extremely tender and gorgeous.

The west and south sides of 17-Mile Drive border the Pacific Ocean, while its east side runs through the Del Monte Forest. Along the way, you can not only see beaches, but also catch glimpses of magnificent luxury villas and golf courses from time to time.

It is a renowned resort destination and home to Cypress Point Club, Monterey Peninsula Country Club, as well as Pebble Beach Golf Links where Tiger Woods once practiced golf.

In the morning, head to San Francisco, a city surrounded by the sea on three sides and made up of more than 50 hills. Visit the Golden Gate Bridge, the iconic bridge on the US West Coast known as "the Bridge That Could Not Be Built"; explore the bustling Fisherman's Wharf; you may take an optional cruise to admire San Francisco Bay. You will also be captivated by the Palace of Fine Arts, a legacy of the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition gifted by the Panamanian government, and Lombard Street.

## Golden Gate Bridge

One of the world's largest single-span suspension bridges, the Golden Gate Bridge is regarded as the symbol of San Francisco. Stretching 2.7 kilometres, it spans the entire San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Strait of the Pacific Ocean, serving as a vital transportation hub connecting San Francisco to cities to the north. In addition, numerous blockbuster Hollywood films including *Rise of the Planet of the Apes* and *X-Men* have shot scenes here.

## Palace of Fine Arts

First built in 1915, the Palace of Fine Arts was originally constructed for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. After the expo concluded, the building gradually fell into disuse and was eventually left as an abandoned ruin. It was not until 1962 that the renowned German-born architect Bernard Maybeck redesigned and renovated the complex, breathing new life and beauty into it.

## Lombard Street

Known as "the crookedest street in the world", Lombard Street has been the filming location for thrilling car chase scenes in many movies such as *Venom*, making it one of San Francisco's most popular landmarks. Every year, millions of tourists walk or drive along its eight sharp hairpin turns. Surrounded by luxury mansions on Russian Hill, meticulously landscaped gardens and blooming flowers, it ranks among the city's most scenic thoroughfares. From the hilltop, visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views overlooking San Francisco Bay, the Bay Bridge and Coit Tower.

## San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf

Fisherman's Wharf is a household name in San Francisco. Stretching from Ghirardelli Square to Pier 35, the area features a diverse array of shops, restaurants and street performances at the bustling Pier 39. Visitors can also gaze across the water to take in stunning vistas of Alcatraz Island, the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge.

San Francisco Bay Cruise

The magnificent Golden Gate Bridge and the spectacular San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge are two signature landmarks of San Francisco. On the cruise, you will pass beneath both iconic structures in sequence. Feel the refreshing sea breeze brush against your face as you relax, and get an up-close view of the imposing Alcatraz Island. This unforgettable journey is sure to leave you with precious wonderful memories.

San Francisco Civic Center Plaza

Also named Joseph Alioto Plaza, San Francisco Civic Center Plaza is located in downtown San Francisco, bounded by City Hall to the north, Fulton Square to the south and the California Superior Court to the east. The plaza is lined with buildings featuring diverse architectural styles, with City Hall as its landmark structure. Completed in 1915, City Hall adopts the French Renaissance architectural style. Serving as a cultural and artistic hub, the plaza is home to world-class performance venues including the Davies Symphony Hall.

Twin Peaks

Consisting of two hills standing approximately 270 metres above sea level, Twin Peaks are the only preserved natural hills within San Francisco city limits, famous for offering a 360-degree panoramic overlook. As two major high vantage points in San Francisco, the twin summits are encircled by an 8-shaped roadway. With no dense tree cover blocking the view at the hilltop observation deck, visitors can enjoy unobstructed sweeping views of San Francisco's breathtaking scenery. Overlooking from the peaks, you will be mesmerised by the vibrant urban landscape of San Francisco and the charming coastal bay scenery.

Day 12: Yosemite National Park → Los Angeles

Yosemite National Park

Today we will head to Yosemite National Park, which was inscribed on the UNESCO World Natural Heritage List in 1984. Located on the Sierra Nevada Mountains in eastern California, it is one of the most beautiful and most visited national parks in the western United States. We will then return to Los Angeles.

Hotel → Yosemite National Park (180 minutes) → Los Angeles

1. In winter, in case of severe weather such as icy and snow conditions or road closures due to frozen roads, we reserve the right to temporarily adjust the itinerary for your travel safety: Yosemite will be replaced by Solvang, and we will head back to Los Angeles via Santa Barbara.
