What To Expect

Overview

  • The Lower Antelope Canyon has become one of the favorite attractions for tourists and photographers around the world. The Navajo name, Hasdeztwazi, means spiral rocks with arch shape. And many years ago, pronghorn antelopes wandering around this place in groups freely, thus we call it "Antelope Canyon".
  • Antelope canyon is famous for its wave-like structure and the light beams that shine directly down into the openings of the canyon, creating a super natural appearance. Many travellers and photographers have been attracted here, regard it as a place where dreams come true.
  • Different from the flat ground of Upper Antelope Canyon, Lower Antelope Canyon requires visitors to climb upside and down through staircases and ladders. It feels like you are entering a new planet, starting a magical adventure.

We had absolutely fabulous time at animal Canyon. Our guide, Eder, was amazing, and showed us how to get the best photos in the canyon. We almost didn’t go here on our two-week road trip, but some friends of ours suggested it and we are so glad we went out of our way to come here. One of the highlights of our trips.

Our guide, Tony, was amazing. He was very informative and gave us lots of information. He took time to help us set our camera settings for the best pictures and he even took pictures of us. All of our pictures turned out amazing. It is definitely worth the trip to see the lower canyon and I just can't say enough good things about our experience it was wonderful.

Ken is a tour guide. He is very professional, respectful, fun, and well rounded. I will recommend this company because of Ken! Thank you for making this trip a beautiful memory. He took pictures for us, and please show the local tour guide your appreciation by listening to what to do and what not to do while your in there, also giving gratuity to the tour guide since he does such a great job taking your pictures! dont worry about not getting good pictures Ken knows what to do. Such a memorable visit. The location - the canyon - lived up to expectations, or actually exceeded them. The tour was world class. Our guide, Ian, was so knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful. He gave us so much respect for Dixie, and the work culture you maintain. Thank you!

Visited in November 2022 This is a MUST on your to do trips. Well worth the drive. OLIVER was very attentive, considering our grandmothers slow waking. He shared a lot of his tribes culture and explained interesting details about the Canyon. 5 Stars for Oliver

The canyon is spectacular. Bryson our tour guide made it more exciting for our group to enjoy and be an awe every part of the canyon.

We did the Lower Antelope Canyon tour with our guide Cody. He was awesome. We love capturing amazing images when we travel, and he knows how to work the camera! We got some of the best photos from this tour that we will cherish. To have the opportunity to visit these canyons was so special. What a unique experience. Just stunning. The mask wearing is honestly a bit silly at this point. It made sense when we were in a pandemic, but to have to wear them now when that time has passed does take away from the overall experience.

absolutely had the best time! Our tour guide Jerry was wonderful and considerate, espe cially since I was not a fast walker and he also helped with picture taking. Got some gorgeous photos with his expertise. The canyon is not to be missed! Words are not enough to express how beautiful the lower antelope canyon is.
